I’m Victoria and I’m the founder of Bide, a Kinross-shire based interior design studio and online store.

I have a love of all things interiors and I’m never happier than when I’m renovating, styling or problem-solving a decor dilemma.

That’s why, after decades of renovating and decorating my own houses, designing spaces for family and friends and spending most of my down time reading interiors books and magazines, I decided the time had come for me to study for a Diploma in Interior Design and set up my own studio.

Outside the world of interiors, I have a 20 year background in brand marketing in the drinks, visitor attraction and charity sectors which has helped me hone my creativity and project management skills.

Living in Scotland, I love bringing the beautiful outdoors in and drawing inspiration from the colours and textures of nature. You’ll see a lot of earthy colours and natural materials in my projects!

In my spare time, my three kids and cocker spaniel keep me busy and I love to travel, explore new places and be active.

I believe that every space should invoke a sense of wellbeing and laid back, timeless luxury at the same time as being practical and purposeful.
